As Account Director, you will have overall responsibility for managing and strategically developing principal client(s).
This will be the ideal role for you if you are an inspirational leader, strong in your strategic and tactical focus, adept at building great relationships, able to multi-task with ease, and are experienced in creative/marketing agency life.
This is a Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategically own, manage, and develop CRM clients across a portfolio of brands.
* Work with Business Partner and Senior Account Director to manage a portfolio of clients with a total revenue of >£2M.
* Demonstrate strong commercial knowledge, managing targets, reporting, and budget responsibility including forecasting.
* Identify and convert new business opportunities for new client wins.
* Proactively seek out opportunities for organic client growth.
* Play a leading role in RFI/RFP and Pitch responses, developing and presenting these responses to win new business.
* Lead the development of CRM, data, and creative briefs, as well as the strategic development of projects.
* Have line management responsibility, coaching and mentoring colleagues.
* Be an inspirational leader and team manager to deliver the highest standards of client service.
* Have overall responsibility for the outcome of all projects.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
* Immense leadership, people management, and motivation skills, with a proven track record of building lasting relationships with clients.
* Client-focused with excellent client-facing skills.
* Creative/marketing agency background.
* Expertise in both Creative and Data with a track record of building successful brands.
* Great presentation skills and ability to drive pitch success.
* Sound understanding of data/CRM in the FMCG environment/industry.
* Digitally savvy with a willingness to find new and exciting ways to communicate.
* A proactive, positive personality with a genuine enjoyment of client contact and teamwork.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-moving environment with the ability to meet/exceed tight timelines.
* Proven leadership skills.
* Demonstrate professionalism to clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
