This full-time position offers a permanent contract and is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As an EHCP Review Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the scheduling of annual reviews in line with statutory timelines, ensuring compliance with the SEN Department’s requirements. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including parents, social care, external agencies, and the school’s senior leadership team, ensuring that all EHCP reviews are completed accurately and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, who can handle sensitive information and work under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Schedule and manage annual EHCP reviews, ensuring statutory deadlines are met. Liaise with relevant staff, parents, and external agencies to coordinate reviews. Provide administrative support, including drafting and distributing final EHCP documents. Monitor the completion and implementation of EHCP reviews, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Assist with front-of-house duties and safeguarding responsibilities as needed. Maintain accurate records using ICT systems and produce data reports as required. Provide support to teaching and administrative staff regarding EHCP processes. Ensure smooth communication and documentation related to student progress and well-being. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an education or SEN setting, is preferred. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to handle complex information. Knowledge of EHCP processes and statutory requirements. Proficient in using ICT and management information systems. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, external professionals, and parents.
