Here at Bradford District Care Trust (BDCT) an exciting opportunity has arisen at Child and Adolescent Mental Heath Service (CAMHS) to take a lead in Specialist Education Needs & Disability (SEND) for children and young people. We are looking for a highly motivated, approachable, dependable and enthusiastic individual to undertake this role. This is a great opportunity to take a lead for SEND in CAMHS, making sure colleagues are up to date with legislations and working with different services to ensure children and young people with SEND have the same outcomes as those without SEND. Our health care services cover Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. CAMHS have two offices: one based in Fieldhead (Bradford) and the other in Hillbrook (Keighley). To collaborate with the local authority and in line with contractual arrangements provide relevant information, reports, advice, and appropriate health care provision to meet the needs of children and young people with SEN or disabilities. They will support the integrated Education Health care (EHC) needs assessment process and coordinate EHCP report requests from the Local Authority.
