Based in the centre of Cambridge, this is an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly administrative team, in a key role supporting the work of the Department of Geography. Reporting directly to the Business and Operations Manager, and working collaboratively with a number of other colleagues, this is the single dedicated role providing human resources support in the Department of Geography and the first point of contact on matters of HR policy and practice, providing expert advice and guidance to individuals and line managers and co-ordinating the full employment cycle, from specification and filling of vacancies, through induction and appraisal, to the ending of contracts. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with experience of HR administration, demonstrable knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
