Calling all solicitors with experience in disciplines including public law, environmental law, regulatory law, or commercial litigation.
A rare in-house opportunity has become available with a West Midlands organisation. As the lawyer, you will have a once-in-a-career opportunity to be involved in the drafting of new legislation, as well as advising on matters relating to lobbying and policy making on behalf of a huge representative body in a highly topical sector!
Working in an established team of lawyers, you will undertake a mixed role of general advisory and litigation work. A significant part of this opportunity is that you will never know what you're working on next. However, it will include:
1. High profile litigation;
2. Judicial review;
3. Drafting legislation;
4. Attending hearings alongside counsel.
You will be 1-4 PQE and bring experience in either environmental, regulatory, commercial litigation, or public law. The opportunity will allow you to utilise your skillset and knowledge, but also turn your hand to new areas of law. It is key that you are someone who is excited by exploring different matters and willing to learn.
There is a huge amount of flexibility on offer, and you will work remotely, but you must be able to commit to just 2 days per month required in the West Midlands HQ.
You can also choose to work part-time (but not less than 4 days per week).
The salary is up to £55,000, plus pension and holidays.
