We are looking for a suitably experienced Senior Medical Laboratory Assistant to join the Electron Microscopy section of the Cellular Pathology Department at the Charing Cross Hospital site. The Electron Microscopy Unit provides a service for the West London Renal and Transplant centre together with a small amount of specialist neuropathology and other surgical biopsies. The applicant should be able to assist in a range of medical laboratory techniques, particularly in histopathology and electron microscopy to support the provision of an efficient service. The post holder will be required to undertake the technical processing and preparation of tissue biopsies ready for ultrastructural examination. The role would be ideally suited to a motivated and dynamic individual with an eye for detail and an appetite to develop their skills. If you enjoy working as part of a small team, have proven ability to multi-task, are a self-starter and a supportive team-player this is a rare and fantastic opportunity for you.

NWLP Induction
The NWLP induction will run on the first Monday of each month (provided it does not fall on a bank holiday) and includes laboratory training (for relevant laboratory roles). All new staff must attend the NWLP induction during their first week with NWLP.
