Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Warrington, Cheshire Hybrid Working arrangement Compensation: Competitive Salary Benefits Role Type: Full time / Permanent The role As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Youll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience. This role is full time, 37 hours per week has hybrid working arrangements and is based in Warrington. Day-to-day, you'll assist in effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers. Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities. Contribute to Project Safety Assessment process. Ensure task and project risks are communicated and managed appropriately. Produce, review and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation and technical reports as assigned. This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools, or standing for extended periods of time. Essential experience of the Senior Mechanical Engineer: Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types. Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities. Good communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines. Qualifications for the Senior Mechanical Engineer: Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent experience in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience. Chartered Engineer status (or actively working toward Chartered Status). Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
