Job Overview:
As the Education Administrator for our Education Programme Office, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our education programmes. From managing admissions to providing administrative support, your contribution will be integral to the success of our training programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and feedback through various channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
* Manage learner admissions and enrolment processes with precision and efficiency
* Support the administrative aspects of training programmes such as apprenticeships, diplomas and short courses by maintaining records, managing enrolments, and liaising with clients (learners/ employers).
* Carry out learner/ employer’s eligibility checks for each of the programmes by conducting quality and compliance checks on enrolment and completion paperwork
* Administer learners’ skills scan to assess their current skill levels and identify areas for development.
* Arrange and administer initial assessments in English, Maths, and ICT for learners to evaluate their proficiency and support their learning needs.
* Register eligible learners for approved programmes on various systems/ platforms.
* Create and maintain registered learner/ employers’ records in a central data management system.
* Register candidates with Awarding Bodies and e-portfolios, ensuring timely submissions
* Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth onboarding and orientation processes
* Assist in the coordination of learners’ training sessions, workshops, and assessments by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external training providers as needed.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the programme team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining filing systems
* Provide ongoing support for clients (learners/ employers)
* Respond promptly to inquiries from learners / employers and other stakeholders by delivering exceptional customer service
* Gather learner feedback to assess satisfaction and progression outcomes
* Conduct business development activities through upselling new or add-on services to existing clients
* Engage with new clients to introduce ART services
* Client (Employers and Learners) site visits
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Previous experience in administration or office management.
* Experienced in the use of administrative software/ applications.
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
* To have a right to work in the UK and be living in the UK for the duration of your employment
* For those working remotely, have access to a laptop or desktop computer with stable internet connection
* Ability to travel to visit clients at their sites within England, UK.
Advantageous Skills (any one of the skills listed below will qualify):
* Previous experience in administration or office management in an educational or training setting
* Knowledge of administrating UK apprenticeship training programmes and other similar educational programmes such as diplomas or short courses.
