Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered CQC Manager to lead and manage our care services in the Cardiff area. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality care in line with CQC standards and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a team of care professionals, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership and Management:
o Oversee the daily operations of the care service, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
o Lead, manage, and inspire the care team to provide exceptional care.
o Conduct regular staff training and development programs to maintain high standards.
* Regulatory Compliance:
o Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and other statutory requirements.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CQC guidelines and implement necessary changes.
o Prepare for and manage CQC inspections, ensuring a positive outcome.
* Care Delivery:
o Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to ensure it meets the needs and preferences of service users.
o Develop person-centred care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
* Financial and Operational Management:
o Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability.
o Maintain accurate records and produce reports as required.
o Work collaboratively with external stakeholders and families.
* Safeguarding and Risk Management:
o Ensure all safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.
o Identify, report, and address risks promptly to maintain a safe environment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Level 3 or 4 Qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a management role within the care sector.
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
* A passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives.
