Field Operations Manager
Location: Leeds & surrounding areas
Salary: £50,000
Monday to Friday days

About your new company
My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company who have been established for 140 years. Due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled Mobile HGV Mechanic to cover Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
About your new Field Operations Manager role:
* Lead the recruitment process, onboarding, and training
* You will identify and resolve breakdowns efficiently and effectively
* Provide day to day ongoing support to all advanced technicians
* Manage completion of all relative administrative procedures to acceptable standards.
* Ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
* Provide advanced engineer / technician support during holiday and absence periods when needed
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
The successful Field Operations Manager will require:
* Ability to develop strong customer relations
* Previous mechanical experience and a strong technical understanding
* NVQ level 3 qualification as a Mobile HGV Technician (City & Guilds 3 in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair)
* Knowledge of current road traffic law/legislation
* Knowledge of latest diagnostic systems
* Experience in electrical fault diagnosis and resultant repairs, including the use of electronic diagnostic equipment.
* Ability to manage own workload independently prioritise tasks
