About the Role:
As a Commercial Analyst, you will support commercial and operational teams by providing key market insights, analysing vessel performance, and assisting in strategic decision-making. The role involves working closely with senior management, developing forecasts, and helping to improve internal reporting systems. It is imperative that you are an analytically-minded individual.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and analyse vessel performance and profitability.
2. Support commercial teams with data-driven insights and market analysis.
3. Develop models and forecasts to support business initiatives.
4. Work closely with teams across the business to resolve queries.
5. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external use.
6. Gain hands-on experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, and Business Intelligence software.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
* A 2:1 degree with strong analytical components OR
* Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical or shipping-related role.
Skills:
* Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Experience with Power BI, SQL, or Python is a preference but not essential.
