As Engineering Team Leader (Asset Care), you will champion the optimisation of our high-speed production lines, driving operational excellence by leading a versatile team of highly skilled Engineering Technicians. You will drive strategic asset care, planned and corrective maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on improving equipment reliability.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Engineering Team Leadership & Development: Empower and develop engineering talent through strategic leadership, mentorship, and coaching to a team of Engineering Technicians.
* Asset Reliability & Optimisation: Develop and execute a data-driven preventative maintenance schedule, maximising equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
* Data-Driven Performance & Improvement: Analyse AG Barr data to facilitate data-driven zonal improvement meetings.
* Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Generate and analyse daily/weekly KPI reports, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions.
What you’ll bring:
* Minimum HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
* Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred).
* In-depth knowledge of maintenance systems and processes.
* Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
