Job Description Our client are seeking an experienced IT Application/System Project Manager to manage the delivery of multiple streams of change to support the enablement of integrations and data standardization across systems to deliver a federated asset model for their maritime fleet. In this role, you’ll plan, execute, and oversee the scope and outcomes of each workstream that aligns with business objectives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive efficient, quality-focused outcomes. There will be a degree of Business Analysis required to translate workstream goals into consumable requirements. Main project components: Functional development of core capabilities against a new architectural pattern Coordinate integration of multiple systems responsible for sections of the federated asset model Indepth analysis and reconciliation of multiple data models representing the logical breakdown of ship components Retrofitting existing datasets to align with the federated asset model principles using machine learning and AI tools to identify patterns and implement linking principles Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets Coordinate with stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams (business and offshore suppliers) Work with SMEs to establish and prioritize core requirements for each workstream Work with solution architects and functional SMEs to scope, analyse and develop core capabilities critical to success Drive execution, oversee day-to-day project tasks and ensure quality standards Utilize Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies as needed Identify and mitigate project risks effectively Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field 5 years in IT project management with a focus on application development and system integrations across both highcode bespoke applications as well as lowcode platforms 5 years experience in coordinating analysis teams and guiding the delivery of work packages across the development lifecycle Familiarity with the Maritime industry and naval architecture would be extremely beneficial Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ADO, Microsoft Project) Strong communication and leadership skills PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred Duration: Initially through to June 2025 with options to extend
