School in Tonbridge looking to recruit a Senior Part time Children's Occupational Therapist to join an exciting team with new opportunities. The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.
Main Duties for the Children's Occupational Therapist includes.
To provide a Specialist Occupational Therapy Service for children/young people who have Learnding disabilities ages 8-16.
To assess the needs of disabled children/young people.
This is a great opportunity to grow within a leadership role.
To provide a specialist responseand implementing intervention plans aimed at reducing the impact of disability.
To give evidenced consideration to the voice of the child/young person and their families.
An awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people, plus an understanding of the importance of dignity & respect when dealing with people. To Be Successful.
Previous experience working as an Children's Occupational Therapist.
Must have experience in a school setting.
The candidate must have experience in training carers/families.
Must be able to hit the ground running and doesn't need upskilling.
HCPC Registration.
Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
Eligibility to work in the UK.
