Engineer Connect is recruiting for an Experienced Maintenance Alarm Engineer for a security alarm company.
Please note this is a field-based role covering Coventry and Birmingham.
Applicants without experience in intruder alarm, CCTV, and door access will not be considered.
You will work full-time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Duties:
1. 4-5 years experience servicing/repairs on various door entry, CCTV & intruder systems for domestic & commercial clients.
2. Fault finding and identifying issues, making recommendations for resolution.
3. Working on large and small installation projects across all security disciplines.
4. Understanding the requirements of the customer, communicating clearly, and reacting efficiently.
5. Providing out of hours paid call-out to customers as part of a 1 in 7 scheduled rota (£45 per call-out).
6. Providing customers with training and demonstrations on systems.
7. Taking responsibility for health and safety and adhering to relevant British Standards.
8. Working proactively and efficiently on your own or as part of a team.
9. Staying updated on all the latest advances in security systems technology to find the best product solutions for clients.
10. Any other reasonable requests from the service team & management.
Please note: Must have worked with some of the following brands:
1. CCTV (Hikvision)
2. Intruder alarms (Galaxy, Eurosec, Menvier, Scantornic, Eaton, Abacus, Texecom, Veritas, Pyronix)
3. Door access (Hikvision, Paxton, Progeny, Aiphone, Bells)
Benefits:

1. Basic salary £35-45k per year dependent on experience.
2. Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00.
