Responsible to the Deputy Head for work related and personnel issues. The Head has direct responsibility for matters relating to pupil behaviour and playground management.
We are looking to recruit a special person to be part of our Midday Supervisor team at Fairford C of E primary School.
The role is for 1 hour a day 12.00 – 1.00 Monday – Friday.
The role includes working across all year groups.
Each Midday Supervisor needs to be skilled in supporting both lunch and play activities.
Lunchtimes at school are not only an opportunity to eat your lunch but also importantly, an opportunity to socialise and play with friends. For some children a large playground can be daunting and they find it tricky at times to navigate that space. A supportive, friendly and understanding adult can make all the difference to a positive or less positive lunchtime.
If you think you have the right skill set to offer our children then please get in touch to discuss the role further. The post is available to start immediately.
The job description and person specification is available via the application pack. The vacancy will remain open until a suitable person is appointed.
The post is offered at Grade 2 (pts 2-3) £22,366 – £22,737 pa pro rata
All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and other medical and safeguarding checks prior to appointment.
The application pack contains copies of our Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy, Safer Recruitment Policy and Policy Statement of the Recruitment of Ex-Offenders and is available to be requested via email on careers@fairford.gloucs.sch.uk or the school office
Note 1: The school will carry out online searches of shortlisted candidates to help identify any incidents or issues which may need to be explored at interview. Shortlisted candidates will also be required to complete a self-declaration on their criminal record or information that would make them unsuitable to work with children.
Note 2: Any successful applicant will have to demonstrate the right to work in the UK
Note 3: If the successful applicant has lived or worked outside of the UK for a period of more than 6 months within the last 10 years they will be required to provide a police check (Certificate of Good Conduct) form that country to cover that period.
Paper copies of all forms and correspondence can be obtained from the school office.
