On Course SouthWest is looking for a Curriculum Lead to support a range of newprojects and developments fastest growing Adult Education Provider.The role will work with our experienced business support andcurriculum teams to deliver funded projects and to supportorganisationalchange.
MainResponsibilities:
* Developingmotivated inspired highperformingstaff;
* Transforming our digitalcurriculum to position the College as the leading provider ofDigital skills in theregion
* Delivering daytoday financialefficiencies and agreedbudgets;
* Growing the College in theeyes of our students our Governors and employers and stakeholdersacross the city and theSouthwest;
Positioning theCollege as the provider of choice for digital skills trainingacross the region will be achieved in partby
* modernising thecurriculum to ensure relevance to the emerging digitallandscape
* introducing supplementaryprofessional microcredentials across our existing provision toensure that students develop industry recognised skills that makesthem highly employable to potentialemployers
* developing a broadtechnical skills offer to meet the needs of the regions digitalsector across AI and machine learning cyber security cloudcomputing networking data analytics web design software and gamesdevelopment
* implementing anessential and developing skills offer to address the digital skillsgaps and drive digital equity across the city and widerregion
* broadening our digitalapprenticeship offer developing both the traditional apprenticeshipoffer as well as an increased Higher apprenticeshipoffer
* develop a culture ofinnovation and continuous digital evolution to ensure ourcurriculum and staff are at the forefront of the digital skillsagenda
In addition thiswill be achieved through planning resourcing and continuallymonitoring and enhancing the quality of exceptional curriculumdelivery through excellent teaching and learning that exceedsexpectations and aspirations whilst building relationshipsinternally and externally with purpose and passion working closelywith the Executive Leadership Team to meet the strategic aims ofthe College as the learning destination of choice. The idealcandidate will bring their Computing and Digital experience and bepassionate about enabling every student to be the best they can beleading to positive destinationoutcomes.
