A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team on a permanent contract.
A day in the life of a Key Account Manager
As a Key Account Manager at Wockhardt, you will be a key member of the team, working to maintain and increase sales through key pharmacy, multiple retail outlets and wholesalers within the UK.
Your role will be planning workload to ensure that the sales targets or manufacturing experience are met, whilst maintaining and developing existing relationships with customers in order to maximise sales.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with new customers in order to develop relationships and generate new business. The role will also involve monitoring competitor activity, forecasting and budgets with particular emphasis on new developments in both the market and new products.
What we’re looking for
You need to be commercially astute with a proven record of achieving sales success in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of the healthcare sector and generics experience is preferable.
You will need to show evidence of individual working, accountability and demonstrate you are a team player when working with internal and external stakeholders.
We would like you to be educated to Degree standard (or equivalent) with excellent business administration skills, including numeracy and literacy. A current full valid UK driving licence is essential as this is a field-based role, however there will be a requirement to spend a significant amount of time at Wrexham North Wales Site.
