What you’ll be doing
Health and Safety is at the forefront of our agenda; ensuring our employees are safe and cared for is our aim. As our H&S Coordinator, you will be at the heart of supporting the Commission’s developing global health and safety function, working directly with the Head of Health and Safety and Director of Health and Safety. This role will also have a dotted line into the Head of Ethical Compliance, helping to ensure our processes are robust and supportive of all our employees.
You will be the main point of contact for managing and maintaining the new H&S system, which will involve working with multiple internal teams to ensure system integrity. You will be pivotal in maintaining the COSHH and risk schedules.
What you need to have
1. General understanding of health and safety legislation within the UK
2. Extensive use of Microsoft 365
3. Experience of developing, managing and maintaining online systems, preferably health and safety systems
4. Effective communication with a variety of colleagues
