Twenty2 Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover) in Newark NG24 - potential for a permanent contract. This role will be to primarily support the finance department with raising purchase orders, invoicing and bank reconciliation. Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours Salary Circa £30k doe Duties Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the purchase ledger. Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable. Liaise with suppliers to address queries regarding payments and invoices. Support the finance team as required Skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data. Experience in accounts payable processes and procedures. Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Familiarity with human resources functions is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers and internal departments.
