We are looking for qualified social workers who have completed their assessed and supported year in employment to join our Safeguarding and Care Planning Teams!
To help us recruit social workers who are committed to working in Middlesbrough, we are currently offering a 15% supplement to social work salaries. This additional 15% will be reviewed at the end of March 2027.
Working with our most vulnerable children, young people, and families, your expertise will support families, help keep children safe, and enable them both to thrive. We pride ourselves on relationships, with each other, and with our children and families, working in a child-centred way to empower and strengthen families and communities. With a permanent leadership team in place, we are committed to the development and progression of social workers to continue our improvement journey and strive for good outcomes for children.
New staff joining Middlesbrough can expect a warm welcome from the team, directors, and Chief Executive, as well as a workplace buddy and full induction process. At Middlesbrough, we truly live our values and incorporate them into everything we do. We are passionate about improving the lives of our residents, focused on achieving the best outcomes, and creative in the way we work with customers, ensuring they get the best support available.
