Our customer, a major Italian multinational company with over 50 years of experience in the industrial crane and lifting sector, is ongoing to open a new branch in the UK and therefore is looking for a General manager to lead expansion in the UK market.

The candidate must have proven business management experience, strong leadership abilities, and financial expertise.
This role is crucial for ensuring the success of their UK branch operations and coordinating activities with their Italian headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Represent the company and oversee overall operations of the UK branch.
* Coordinate strategic alignment with the Italian headquarters.
* Identify new strategic goals to support long-term growth.
* Analyze periodic financial results and prepare official documentation.
* Manage operational staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
1. Required Skills:
* Proven experience in developing successful business growth strategies.
* Budget management, forecasting, cost accounting, and P&L experience.
* Knowledge of local UK regulations and compliance standards.
* Experience in the crane and lifting systems manufacturing and maintenance sector.
* Ability to coordinate operations between the UK branch and the Italian headquarters.
* Strong leadership and high-performance team-building skills.
2. Qualifications:
* Experience in a business management role, preferably in the industrial sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel frequently between the UK and Italy.
