Your new role
Reporting to an approachable, supportive HR Director, this is a lead Health and Safety Manager role based in Fareham with travel to other sites as required. You must ensure Health and Safety compliance across multiple sites and services, maintaining ISO45001 & 14001 by developing a health and safety culture and providing advice and guidance on Health and Safety matters. To ensure the smooth running of all sites, you will engage and manage contractors, liaise with landlords, and oversee refurbishment and ongoing maintenance.
You will work as part of a collaborative, friendly team based in Fareham. Hybrid working is offered with 3 days in the Fareham office and 2 days WFH (working from home) per week beyond the first 2 weeks. Working hours: 37.5 / week, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm with 30 minutes' lunch).
What you'll need to succeed
This role will suit a confident, proactive person who can influence managers and key stakeholders, ensuring a positive Health and Safety culture across the business. You must have experience in a Senior Health and Safety Advisor / Manager position or similar and be NEBOSH Certificate (General / Construction etc) or IOSH qualified (Grad IOSH or above) and have experience of travelling to other sites.
