We are looking for an experienced HR Manager for a leading manufacturing company.
The role
The company is looking for an HR Manager for a site of circa 180 people. The position will report into the Site Director with a dotted line into the VP HR and will supervise one member of staff. The position with play a pivotal role within the Site Leadership Team and be responsible for overseeing all HR activity on site, creating and cultivating an inclusive culture where employees thrive. The role will act as a trusted, strategic business partner to the Site Lead focusing on driving cultural initiatives, performance management, talent acquisition, engagement, retention, learning and development and workforce planning.
Duties will include:
1. Driving HR capability for the site, providing an efficient HR service to the business in line with business needs.
2. Providing strong counsel and advice to the Leadership Team and Line Managers across the full spectrum of HR and implementing HR change programmes
3. Overseeing and managing HR administrative support activities.
4. Managing employee relations and attendance issues providing coaching to line managers.
5. Driving engagement and collaboration via local site union officials.
