Site / Black Hat Supervisor – site-based, Reading £40-£45 per hour (experience dependent) average 45-58hr week (outside IR35) min 12 month contract overtime rates highly skilled, collaborative team environment Site / Black Hat Supervisor responsibilities include: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress, quality and safety of projects & multi-disciplined contract workers onsite Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with the approved specifications and drawings Identify any defects or non-conformances and work with the contractors to ensure timely corrective actions are taken Maintain detailed records of site inspections, test results, and any issues or deviations from the approved plans Attend project meetings and provide updates on the status of projects Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders related to scope of work Site / Black Hat Supervisor profile: NVQ3 / HNC / HND or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical OR Construction Engineering Minimum 5 years experience as a Construction Site / Black Hat Supervisor or similar SSSTS certificate required Experience working on large 'live' construction sites, including Civils, Industrial, Waste-to-Energy, Hospital builds, Airports etc Previous or current Security clearance OR Security clearance eligible (last 5yrs living & working in the UK required) Good understanding of overall operations on a construction site with a focus on safety, compliance, project progress & ensuring multi-disciplined contractors are engaged at all times Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with contractors, clients, and project team members Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities If the above ongoing Site / Black Hat Supervisor long-term contract looks of interest and you have the qualifications and experience required, then please get in touch and one of our consultants will contact you
