Your Role
You will be expected to undertake a range of activities including the following (although please note it is not an exhaustive list):
* Plan and prioritise workload
* Ability to set and respond appropriately to deadlines
* Provide administrative support across a number of teams within Stockport Family
* Receiving and processing documentation, data and information (hard-copy and electronic, and including sensitive and confidential information)
* Receiving, recording, and forwarding invoices for approval
* Ordering supplies, receipting and invoice processing
* Preparing and sending timely correspondence to stakeholders
* Managing customer contact via email inboxes and telephone calls (including signposting and directing enquiries)
* Working across a range of IT systems alongside Council systems
* Contribute to updating of the Offices ‘Operating Procedures’
* Minute taking and providing efficient administrative support to funding panels
* Assist with training of new Business Support Assistants and Apprentices
* English GCSE C or above is preferred; a good standard of English is imperative.
About You
You will be a hardworking, flexible individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, alongside solving problems and making decisions/recommendations to meet the needs of the service. You will actively seek ways to find efficiencies and improve processes whilst building strong working relationships with the service we support.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Scale 4 Post to support the School Effectiveness and Early Years Teams. The work will be varied, and you will be working as part of a team supporting the Inclusion Service, School Effectiveness Leads, and Early Years across the Borough.
