We are looking for a new Veterinary Care Assistant to join our innovative team and journey of success. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week plus 1:4 Saturdays. No OOH or bank holiday work and a lieu day following your working Saturday. Our opening hours are 8am – 18:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30 am-17:00pm Saturdays. As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will first and foremost be providing a friendly, efficient and professional service to our clients on the reception desk, answering phone calls and being the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. You will also at points be supporting our clinical team to provide outstanding care to our patients, involving walking and feeding patients, restraining animals and performing general cleaning, maintenance and administrative duties. You will need to be able to work well both within a team and independently, sometimes under high pressure. Whilst previous veterinary receptionist experience is preferred but not essential, exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are vital.
