Carrying out role activities safely in accordance with stated requirements and control of work. Working within the Wood (WG) core values framework and clients BMS at all times Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Process Ownership: Proactively support compliance with Industry Life Saving Rules. Proactively reinforce the WG core values and clients to deliver safety as top priority. Comply with all aspects and conditions identified within the Permit to Work (PTW). Follow working practices and procedures, ensuring that role activities are completed safely and to a high standard at all times. General Duties & Responsibilities: Weekly work planning – Use of SAP to print work orders, creating necessary work permits, planning and executing weekly tasks. Safety critical tasks – Inspection of all fire safety equipment on site, ensuring they are in good condition and in date, liaising with vendors and raising notifications if anything is required. This includes hydrants and monitors, extinguishers, deluge systems and fire pumps. Inspection of all BA equipment -topping up cylinders first aid equipment and safety showers. Vibration monitoring and review. – Condition monitoring on all motors, pumps and compressors, creating reports, monitoring trends on vibration and rotating equipment. Site Focal Point for vibration readings as per site requirements Oil analysis – Oil sampling, testing and reviewing. Reporting back to the execution manager. Authorised Gas Tester Focal Point – carrying out installation assessments for all AGT’s at the facility. Ensuring adequate competent AGT’s are available at the facility to manage the gas testing requirements. Ensuring a process is in place for storage, calibration, pump testing and issue of gas testing equipment Data Retrieval – Monitor run hours on compressors, torque values on motor controller valves. Updating the database and raising Z1 notifications. Fixed flexible hose Focal Point – Looking after the data base for 900 fixed flexible hoses on site, raise notifications for any requiring change out. General duties but not limited to – Greasing motors, taking care of spill equipment, visual inspections of plant, conducting routine maintenance. Safety Perform all required discipline tasks safely, consistently and in accordance with site requirements. Participate in tool box talks as required. Responsible for stopping the job and seeking advice from the appropriate person should they have any concerns with a task they are conducting. Responsible for reporting any accidents and incidents immediately to their Line Supervisor. Awareness of personal safety, that of others and risks associated with the role and the working environment. Participate in clients, WG and local site safety initiatives. General Complete all work scopes as communicated by the Line Supervisor in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings. Support overall delivery of company and clients goals and schedule. Provide support to other trades / disciplines where required and form part of an integrated multi-discipline team. Proactively seek additional tasks where time permits. Rigging activities as requested and where competent to do. Show an enthusiasm to develop core skills. Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude / behaviours. Execute assigned personal objectives and tasks. Contribute to positive team working attitude. Have an HSE and “just care” mindset throughout and a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment (HS&E). Be flexible to work in various site locations and shift patterns / rotations as required. Work night shift as required and delegated by the Line Supervisor. Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate with peers / Foreman / Maintenance Supervisor Site based personnel can be asked to assist off-site with office based pre-implementation activities as required e.g. constructability input, specialised tools and equipment identification, material segregation ect. Qualifications Qualifications: Evidence of time served in required trade Rigging & Lifting qualification Level 1 and ideally working towards Levels 2 & 3 Knowledge, skills and experience: Experience of working in a similar environment and role preferred. Personal attributes: Good interpersonal and team skills. Good practical capabilities. Good housekeeping skills.
