Lead Embedded Engineer – C / C++

This isn’t just a typical lead position. You’ll be at the forefront, guiding a talented group of engineers while staying fully hands-on with development. Your day-to-day will involve everything from high-level architecture design to writing and optimizing embedded software in C and C++. You’ll be refining processes and ensuring that projects run smoothly from start to finish, introducing new tools and ways of working along the way. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of engineers in the development of embedded systems.
* Design high-level architecture and optimize embedded software in C/C++.
* Refine processes and ensure smooth project execution.
* Introduce new tools and methodologies to enhance productivity.
* Mentor team members through all stages of development.
Minimum Requirements:
* Full life-cycle development experience with C/C++ in embedded systems.
* Sole British nationality and eligibility for UK SC clearance.
* Experience with operating system concepts like multi-threading and memory management.
* Proficiency with scripting languages like Python or bash.
* Experience with version control tools such as GitHub.
* Leadership experience in guiding projects and mentoring team members.
