Hopkins Architects are currently recruiting for a Communications Assistant to join its award-winning, design-led practice.
Working with the Communications Team you will assist in the practices bid process and associated tasks such as tracking potential work, alongside helping with award submissions and press research and outreach.
This is an important and demanding role suited to a creative, ambitious and hardworking individual prepared to work to tight deadlines. You will have the skills and ability to achieve and maintain high standards of work, interacting as necessary with architectural teams and senior staff.
Successful candidates will have experience in a similar role. Knowledge and an interest in architecture would be an advantage.
Excellent InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills are essential, and familiarity with a CRM is preferred.
Areas of Responsibility
1. Assisting with putting together bid submissions.
2. Tracking potential work through tender portals and research.
3. Assist with researching press targets and press outreach.
4. Assist with the co-ordination and submission of award entries.
5. Maintaining the press database.
6. Maintaining the resources and information archive including practice and project text, CVs, brochures and publications.
7. Maintain and contribute to the development of the practice's CRM database.
8. Supporting business development initiatives including researching clients and opportunities.
9. Helping to maintain graphic continuity across the office.
10. Press monitoring and uploading to internal database.
Technical Skills / Qualifications Required
1. Experience in a similar role preferred.
2. Excellent InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills are essential.
3. Familiarity with a CRM preferred.
