Sales Director
£70k + £5.5k car allowance
HQ – Leeds - Role: Hybrid
Our client is looking for a dynamic, experienced person who can bring a client base and can hit the ground running and build up a pipeline quickly. Ideally, need someone who has managed a sales team, currently managing 2. Our client works all over the UK but is strongest in Yorkshire.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
1. Board member reporting to the senior board members.
2. Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.
3. Own and hit/exceed annual personal and team sales targets.
4. Build sustainable relationships with existing and new clients.
5. Drive positive new growth behaviours and sales strategies to assist in delivering Clients financial vision for growth.
6. Assist in aligning Sales & Marketing to growth of business & vision.
7. Provide strategic direction for sales department and identify new business opportunities in target markets.
8. Introduce good sales practices to existing teams in order to win new business.
9. Assist in implementation of stable platforms through systems/process for continued growth.
10. Oversee the production of sales proposals and presentations.
11. Represent the business at networking events, conferences and exhibitions.
12. Maximise new business development opportunities.
13. Motivate, manage and lead a New Business Sales Team and Account Management Team. Communicate clear, consistent instructions to team members surrounding business and sales expectations.
14. Hold and record regular team meetings and one-to-one sessions with assigned reports.
15. Manage and work closely with clients and identify new sales opportunities within those clients.
16. Ensure compliance to all health and safety requirements.
17. Liaison with clients and staff of Client, at all levels.
Requirements:
1. You will need a clean driving licence.
2. Experienced in the Design and Build company sector.
