We are looking for a STR Worker at our Growthpoint Service.
The service supports individuals in the city providing opportunities in recreation, leisure, horticulture, and employment activities to reduce the risk of relapse and potential hospitalisation/criminalisation.
1. You will positively engage with people, showing your respect for them as an individual, working in a person-centred way.
2. Your skills, knowledge, and experience will enable you to recognise, promote, and develop a person’s strengths and abilities whilst equipping you to support with any physical, emotional, and social requirements they may have.
3. You will ensure that a person's right to privacy, dignity, and choice are at the foundation of all you do.
4. You will support and assist people with their health & wellbeing, paying particular attention to the individual's plans.
5. Care, welfare, safety, and security is everyone’s responsibility, ensuring that you follow relevant policies and procedures to enable us all to work safely.
