If you are a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a fantastic opportunity in a welcoming and supportive school, we would love to hear from you!
We are seeking a resilient and proactive individual to work within our Year 5 team, supporting children who benefit from sensory and movement breaks throughout the day. These pupils thrive with structure, consistency, and an engaging approach that supports their focus and learning. You will play a key role in helping them stay on track, supporting their emotional regulation, and ensuring they make strong academic and social progress.
As part of our experienced and caring team, you will help create a calm, structured, and positive learning environment, balancing high expectations with an understanding of individual needs.
We are looking for a colleague who:
1. Is an excellent practitioner and team player.
2. Has high expectations for all pupils and is committed to supporting their progress.
3. Can adapt teaching and support strategies to meet individual needs.
4. Has strong interpersonal skills and can work both independently and as part of a team.
5. Is proactive, flexible, and able to respond effectively to challenges.
6. Is keen to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Experience working with children who require additional support with focus, self-regulation, or sensory needs would be an advantage.
We can offer you:
1. A friendly and supportive staff team who enjoy coming to work.
2. Enthusiastic, kind, and engaged pupils who love to learn.
3. A governing board that is proactive and supportive.
4. Supportive parents and carers who value the school and their children’s education.
5. A welcoming and inclusive school community where everyone is valued.
6. Opportunities to work closely with partner schools and universities, including The Phoenix Hub group, Bath Spa, and UWE.
