An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Echo to join our friendly team.
Our service provides a range of diagnostic services, including outpatient and inpatient Echo (adult and paediatric), Stress Echo (DSE and e-bike), Bubble, Contrast, Adult and Paediatric Congenital clinics, and Cardio-Oncology clinic. We have top-of-the-range echo machines with 4D capability. We are currently in the process of establishing several Physiologist-led services and actively pursuing BSE departmental accreditation.
Our staff benefit from compressed working hours, working 8am to 6pm 4 days per week and 50-minute echo slot times with an echo assistant, in modern, air-conditioned facilities. We do not have on-call for echo. We aim to provide 20% off probe time to all sonographers to reduce MSK and support role expansion / CPD.
We are committed to team development, offering further training both internally and externally and course opportunities including attendance to the BSE conference. We are lucky to have a highly experienced team, who have a passion for training, including two BSE assessors and a strong record of successful training, meaning we are well-positioned to support our team members' professional growth and skill advancement.
We will consider applications from newly qualified physiologists and those wishing to train or complete training in echocardiography.
Thank you for your interest in this role.
