We are seeking a Business Development Lead & Sports Educator to drive growth and build strategic partnerships, contributing to our mission of transforming physical education for the better.
Position Summary:
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth across target markets. This role requires a combination of strategic planning, sales acumen, and partnership management to expand our reach and impact within the education and sports sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth Planning:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue and market share growth.
* Identify new market opportunities, including partnerships with schools, sports organizations, government bodies, and corporate sponsors.
* Analyze industry trends and customer needs to refine value propositions and service offerings.
Sales and Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in schools, districts, and community organizations.
* Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that generate qualified leads.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Represent the company as a thought leader in physical education, advocating for the importance of quality programs in schools and communities.
Reporting and Metrics:
* Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, partnerships, and overall business development efforts.
* Provide regular updates to leadership on progress and new opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
* Experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the education, sports, or health industries.
* Strong understanding of the physical education sector, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strategic partnerships.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
