Job Purpose
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity to join our Senior Leadership Team at UU. This role places you at the forefront of planning and executing strategic activities as we transition into our next funding cycle, AMP8.
You will be responsible for creating AMP strategies for water services (customer, environmental, quality, and sufficiency) aimed at improving service quality while reducing costs, ensuring these strategies align with long-term goals and annual county plans.
Additionally, you will integrate these strategies into broader business plans, including the WRMP and Price Review business plan submissions. You will oversee price control delivery and performance reporting to achieve successful outcomes.
Furthermore, you will act as the key senior liaison with Economic Regulation and Asset Management functions for the creation of our Price Review submission, long-term strategy, and asset management framework.
Job Accountabilities
* Drive the embedding of longer-term strategy and asset management frameworks within operational teams.
* Represent UU at a national and international level.
* Generate confidence and assurance of the delivery of our five year plan; including re-evaluation of strategies, targets and performance models, plus the identification of risks and opportunities for the remainder of the AMP.
* Lead monthly ODI and price control performance reviews for the water services leadership team, including leading preparations for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with executive leaders.
* Lead the provision of operational reporting data, analysis and insight to operational teams.
