To manage the planning, quality, delivery and quality of Classic Bike’s editorial content (news, features, road tests, events, workshop and products) across the Classic Bike brand, producing the magazine to a segment-leading standard every month and create content across multiple platforms that delivers a compelling offering to the audience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver engaging editorial content, ensuring relevance and market appeal
* Continuously refine editorial strategy to maintain freshness and audience growth
* Manage content production, adhering to budget, deadlines and brand guidelines
* Embrace new technologies to enhance workflow efficiency and revenue opportunities
* Lead editorial planning meetings, ensuring long-term content strategy alignment
* Collaborate with production teams to maintain quality and timely delivery
* Oversee editorial budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising standards
* Support team development through training, performance reviews, and clear communication
* Manage freelance resources to upload editorial consistency and contractual compliance
* Work closely with marketing and subscriptions teams on promotional initiatives
* Identify commercial opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue
* Represent the brand at industry events, meetings and external engagements
* Address editorial-related customer queries promptly and professionally
* Monitor success through content originality, social media engagement, and strategic execution
What you'll bring:
* Creative thinker and writer with an eye for imagery and design who can demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to create compelling quality content across multiple delivery platforms that will resonate with the target audience
* Best-in-class journalist who is passionate and authoritative about classic motorcycle content
* Demonstrable track record of Editor-level content curation and product management
* Able to plan and prioritise your work to meet deadlines throughout the production workflow
* Highly efficient, organised and schedule-oriented planner who can write, plan, manage and coordinate multiple people, and tasks
* Able to influence and manage multiple stakeholders and to resolve conflict
* Skilled at delivering results through others, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring to continually improve performance
* Ideally skilled in using Monday.com for pre-planning and planning and managing content cascades, and can confidently train others to use Monday.com effectively and efficiently
* Ideally skilled in using WoodWing Assets and WoodWing Studio
