We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible and organised Finance Assistant to join our busy Finance Team. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of all our financial operations.
The post is available with immediate effect on a permanent basis for 36 hours per week, for 39 weeks term-time plus three weeks (42 weeks). The core hours of work are from 8.30am to 4.10pm (including a half hour lunch break), Monday to Friday. However, an alternative working pattern will be considered if required by the successful applicant. The additional three weeks are normally worked one week during the Easter holidays and two weeks during the summer holidays to ensure timely completion of month-end reporting and to prepare for the school’s financial year end.
The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills and the ability to feel confident in dealing with both parent and staff queries. You will be responsible for the financial running of our school iPad scheme, so attention to detail and excellent Excel skills are vital.
