Position Details: Role: Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Swadlincote Full-time position Daily Rate: £85 - £115 per day (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities: Support students with a range of special educational needs, including learning disabilities and other additional learning requirements. Assist in creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students. Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that the individual needs of students are met. Provide emotional and behavioural support to students, ensuring their well-being and academic progress. Help with classroom activities, ensuring that students remain engaged and motivated. Assist with any personal care needs, where appropriate.Key Requirements: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred but not essential. A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Patience, empathy, and resilience to work with children who may have complex needs.
