An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join an existing finance team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant for our client based in Chelmsford.
Responsibilities:
* Inputting invoices accurately onto the system, maintaining a high level of attention to detail at all times.
* Completing ad hoc duties to contribute to the efficient operation of the finance team.
* Reconciling large supplier accounts to statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
* Collaborating with various suppliers and departments across all levels of the business to facilitate effective communication.
Skills Required:
* Precise attention to detail is essential for this role, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required to effectively manage and analyse data.
* Excellent communication skills are necessary to liaise with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
* A flexible and approachable manner, combined with self-motivation and the ability to work well with others, will contribute to your success in this role.
* Strong organisational skills are essential to manage your own workload and multitask efficiently.
