Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain valuable experience in an educational setting? TimePlan Education is working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chadderton, Oldham, seeking a passionate and proactive graduate to support pupils with additional needs after Easter.
The Role:
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
2. Assist teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
3. Work closely with SENCOs and external professionals to implement tailored support strategies.
4. Gain hands-on experience that is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or SEN specialists.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A Psychology degree or a related field.
* A passion for supporting children with additional needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is desirable but not essential.
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
