Responsibilities:
* Provide specialised support and tuition to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their homes or local libraries.
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans to address the unique needs of each student.
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress and social development.
* Ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
* Proven experience working with SEN students in Key Stage 2.
* Understanding of the UK National Curriculum (at least 2 years experience).
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational abilities.
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to SEN students in their homes or local libraries. The work is based in St Osyth, Essex, and surrounding areas.
