Herts Inclusive Theatre provides theatre groups for children, teens, and adults across Hertfordshire. These groups are designed to be inclusive and accessible so everyone can join in. In our groups, participants play drama games, work with scripts, and devise their own shows, which they perform at the end of the term.
In Hemel, Herts Inclusive Theatre runs two groups: Hemel Children's Theatre and Hemel Youth Theatre. We are looking for volunteers to support the running of these groups.
When: Saturdays 9:30am-10:45am and 11am-12:30pm
Where: The Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead
Volunteers must be 18+, but don't need to have previous experience - we will give you all the training you need!
Led by experienced practitioners, our workshops are open to all and are especially welcoming to those with special needs. We run termly theatre workshops across Hertfordshire and North London, as well as creative activities during the holiday periods. Through these activities, we break down barriers about disability, encouraging participants to work together on an equal level and without prejudice.
