What skills and experience we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will:
Have Qualified Teacher Status;
Be able to evidence that they meet all the teacher standards;
Have the ability to teach to a high standard in Reception (EYFS), Key Stage One and Key Stage Two;
Understand how children learn – and be able to nuture a positive learning environment;
Have high expectations of children of all abilities;
Know who to adapt learning to meet the needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs);
Understand the importance of formative assessment and using this as a diagnostic tool to plan purposeful learning opportunities;
Have excellent organisational skills and have very good time management.
