Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Marketing Coordinator will support senior team members in developing, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns. You will assist in planning, implementing, tracking, and reporting the progress of campaigns using analytical tools.
This role requires you to be knowledgeable in Digital Marketing and eager to learn. Over time, your responsibilities and influence on campaigns will grow. Your role will also involve ensuring smooth workflows through meticulous planning and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Marketing Planning: Develop and maintain playbooks for owned tournaments to standardise marketing activities and best practices.
Market Research: Conduct competitor and market research, translating insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
Analytical Reporting: Utilise tools such as Google Analytics to monitor and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, providing actionable insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with financial, commercial sales, and senior marketing teams to plan and launch campaigns that support sales strategies.
Workflow Management:
* Implement, manage, and optimise workflow processes using Monday.com
* Ensure tasks are executed efficiently with minimal disruptions.
Ticketing Management: Handle ticketing requests, including refunds and complimentary tickets, delivering a seamless experience for customers.
* Manage invoices and purchase orders (POs) using Workday
* Create, track, and reconcile POs and invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets
* Collaborate with finance teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies or delays promptly.
Skills & Experience:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Digital Marketing experience required, and ideally coordinator or project management experience.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Google Analytics and market research software.
* Applied knowledge of marketing principles, including web, email, SEO, social media marketing.
* Experience with CRM platforms and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Familiarity with Workday for financial processes is advantageous.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
Industry Knowledge:
* An understanding of brand dynamics and consumer trends.
* Awareness of the golf industry would be an advantage.
* A passion for sports, particularly golf, is beneficial.
Salary: up to £30k dependent upon experience.
