Behaviour Support Assistant – Secondary School in Levenshulme Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Levenshulme. This full-time role is available immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance. Role Overview: The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional behavioural support, helping them to engage positively with their learning and school environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with behavioural difficulties, both inside and outside the classroom. Implementing individual behaviour plans and working with the pastoral team to monitor progress. Providing one-to-one and small group support, helping students develop emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies. Working alongside teachers to create a structured and supportive learning environment. Assisting with conflict resolution and promoting positive peer relationships. Supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. Candidate Requirements: Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. A background in youth work, psychology, or mentoring is beneficial. Salary & Benefits: Weekly pay of £419.25 - £500.
