We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys analysing
data to join our Lead Cancer Team as the Cancer Data Quality Officer here

Main duties of the job
In this position you will play a pivotal role in shaping data driven decisions
that support patients through their cancer pathways. You will be
responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of data,
identifying anyerrors on patient records. You will capture learning points
and provide constructive feedback to individuals working collaboratively to
fix errors and build on knowledge to prevent these happening in the future.
You will lead in validating cancer data and the submission of national
cancer reporting requirements working alongside colleagues within the
Business Intelligence service and Performance service.
This post is based at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
but will involve occasional travel to St Luke's Hospital and Eccleshill
Treatment Centre (The Meadows). There will also be requirements for
travel to National Cancer events and conferences relating to your role.

4. Experience of managing confidential patient data and it's capture
5. Relevant administrative experience in the NHS
6. Relevant experience managing patient pathways in accordance with waiting time guidelines
7. Experience of planning and organising work allocation/delegation to team members to deliver a high-quality performance within policy and service timescales.
8. Experience of the Cancer Agenda and Cancer Waiting Times standards
9. Experience of production and communication of reports/data
10. Experience of analysing performance data to identify ways in which improvements can be made
11. Experience of undertaking audits and analysing the results to produce comprehensive meaningful reports and action plans
