Title: Mobile Service Technician (MST) Location: Reading, England/UK Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: To meet engineers on security level 1 and 2 sites and remove cash under security protocol. Meet engineers on site to give large parts and assist on site with the engineer. Carry out minor faults, as an FLM engineer would do, such as clearing card reader faults, printer faults, note jams etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Liaise with engineers and FSC when attending high security sites, as to remove the cash from the ATM. This will include the wearing of security equipment and follow security procedures. The MST will carry various parts in his vehicle and will meet up with the engineer on site when required, to give the engineer the required part and assist on site. - The MST will return parts, as well as ordering replacements and keep order of a stock control. - If not required to meet engineers, then the MST will be given tickets, such as p1's to p4's, to attend and repair. These tickets will be of a low engineering maintenance which the MST would be capable of fixing. - Meet non-engineering tickets, such as BT meets, locksmiths, alarm handovers etc. - At times, to travel further distances to collect larger parts - Be prepared to go away for training 1 week Rotherham (SIA) 2 weeks Dundee. - Comply with NCR Atleos Security Policy - Adhere to current security processes - Comply with MST duress policy. - Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: - SIA license would be beneficial. Successful applicants will need to attain the qualification as part of their induction. - Demonstrate good geographical knowledge of local area. - Occasional long-distance driving will be required. - Full UK Driving License required, clean license is desirable. Comfortable driving larger Van. - Added benefit if you have previous experience with electronics, or mechanical devices. - Must have basic fault-finding skills. - Previous experience in a service engineer or CVIT role is desirable. - Some heavy lifting required. - Good administration skills. - Good communication skills. - Must be self-motivated and driven.
