The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving business development for a range of industrial automation, including bearings, actuators, couplings, gearboxes, linear motion products via end-user channels and OEM customers across the South of the UK (M3 corridor) The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling mechanical engineering products into a production manufacturer. Managing key accounts and driving business development for a range of industrial automation, including bearings, actuators, couplings, gearboxes, linear motion products via end-user channels and OEM customers across the South of the UK (M3 corridor) Maintaining new industrial automation product sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets. Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided. Liaise with various engineering departments. Remote based covering the South of the UK (M3 corridor) Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Requirements Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a global engineering manufacturer. Experience selling a technical engineering product with a preference to mechanical engineering products, bearings, actuators, couplings, gearboxes, linear motion products ,or similar mechanical engineering products A technical mechanical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous Experience selling mechanical engineering products into a production manufacturer. Full product training provided. Regular customer visits, developing sales and account managing existing accounts for industrial automation products including bearings, actuators, couplings, gearboxes,linear motion products and more.
