The role:
The role will be a key point of contact for key stakeholders within the business relevant to business areas. The role will also be expected to review processes end to end, make improvements to the processes as required and build a strong understanding of the implications and outputs of each process.
Responsibilities:
Management of the Fixed Assets Commissioning process to ensure once projects have gone live, the assets are commissioned accurately and on a timely basis.
Being a key point of contact for key stakeholders and communicating the status of the commissioning progress on a regular basis
Triaging queries from the project team on how and when to submit assets within a project for commissioning.
Success in this role will be measured on the volume and value of commissioning.
Reporting requirements including, but not limited to, quarterly forecasting and analytical reviews.
Support on implementation of ad-hoc fixed asset projects as required by the business.
Proactively support the implementation of Fixed Asset accounting policies and systems changes relating to Fixed assets.
Requirements:
Background within finance and accounting
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Ideally accountancy qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
